We are in the process of retiring 2 old XEN servers in Take2Hosting (San Jose)  XEN4 and XEN13 as they have been in production since the last  serveral years and now reached their production end of life. To transition into longer term uninterrupted hosting we are offering clients to arrange moving their data to a XEN VPS in locations of your choice: Los Angeles (out of stock), Chicago or Florida and take advantage of our standard Gigabit speed network which is currently not available in the old server you are in.
You will be given a VPS and allow you to move your data before 26 of July 2012 to new VPS created for you, contacting us early means you have enough time to transition your server into production use.
Please We hope to hear from you before the end of the month as they will go down by 26 of July to ensure smooth transition of your server.
Â
Sincerely,
QuickWeb Hosting Team
Update: We hope to hear from you (If you still haven't arranged anything from us in the past 2 weeks please do so ASAP!) as we will shutdown the XEN4 and XEN13 Nodes in the next 3 days (July 26, 2012), all data will still remain on the server until July 29 Â 7PM NZST where they will be turned over back to the data centre for retirement.
